QWAK,Creative lighting!
QWAK, LED lighting is geting incredably CHEEP! :yes: cheep enough to play with here at the DUCK nest any way:wink: just a fiew years ago it cost me $20.00 and shiping for a single LED flash light NOW you can get 60 for under $10.00! :23_30_104:

QWAK,RKaz,When they first started making LED ithey were very expencive because they used the same tecniques as chips -- as it turned out some IMPURITIES were GOOD :yes::36_1_25: and made them BRITER and colors and much much cheeper to manufacture! :yes::23_30_104:
About 20% of the HEAT load in a modern office building with floesent tube lights come from the WAISTED energy of the transformers! :36_1_25::yes: LEDS just make LIGHT no HEAT! :thinkey::yes: Even with just using the AA batteries a fiew of them UFO light would be great in a power failure:yes: I am going to turn on a 24 LED light with 4 new AA batteries and see how many hours it will go giving USABLE light! :thinkey: the DUCK :15_1_70v: |
